Peskov: Current gas crisis handmade, Russia has enough to supply

MOSCOW, Jun 20 (PRIME) -- The Europeans will not give back to Russia the repaired turbines that should be used in supplies of natural gas, the current crisis is handmade, President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Monday.

“Russia is still a supplier that is reliable to the highest extent. From the technological point of view, mechanical infrastructure of the pipeline suffers from the sanctions that the E.U. has imposed,” he said.

“You know that the pumping capacities, and I mean the turbines, have to undergo an overhaul maintenance, and some turbines cannot be returned because the Europeans are not putting them back to where they came from.”

The E.U. created the current gas crisis with its own hands, because Russia has enough resources to cover exports.

“But the European have to give back our machines and repair them in compliance with their obligations,” he said.
